Service overview
Individuals need this license to perform special inspections. Agencies need a Special Inspections Agency License.
The building code requires special inspections for some construction and demolition projects. Special inspections do not replace inspections performed by the Department of Licenses and Inspections (L&I).
Special inspectors must work for a special inspection agency. This does not authorize the license holder to operate a business.
