You can get free, confidential testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), including HIV, at the STD clinic at Health Center 1. The STD clinic at Health Center 5 is currently closed.
Who
Anyone over the age of 13 can get STD testing and treatment.
Requirements
No appointment is needed. Walk-in services are on a first come, first served basis. Arrive as early as possible to be sure you will be seen.
Where and when
Health Center 1 is the City’s dedicated walk-in clinic for STD testing and treatment.
Health Center 1 also provides:
- Vaccinations for Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B.
- Vaccinations for human papillomavirus (HPV).
- Pre (PrEP) and Post (PEP) Exposure Prophylaxis for HIV (PrEP and PEP).
Health Center 1 does not offer the primary care services that are available to registered patients at other City health centers.

On the first Wednesday of each month, the clinic at Health Center 1 opens at 1 p.m.
On very busy days, clinics may close earlier than the times listed above. Be sure to call before your visit to confirm that the STD clinic is open.
Cost
Testing and treatment for STDs are free.
