Getting an updated vaccine is the best way to protect yourself, your family, your loved ones, and your community.
People 6 months and up can get vaccines
Three COVID vaccines are used in the United States. They include:
- Pfizer-BioNTech
- Moderna
- Novavax.
Vaccine recommendations vary based on age and previous doses. Talk to your healthcare provider about what vaccines you or your child needs to stay protected.
Cost
COVID-19 vaccines are free for children. Learn more about the Vaccines for Children program.
Adult COVID vaccines are covered by health insurance. If you don’t have insurance, you can find free vaccines at local healthcare providers or at a City health center.
Where to get a vaccine
Vaccines are available at many pharmacies and some healthcare providers.
COVID-19 vaccines are available at the City health centers below for residents of Philadelphia. You do not need to be a registered patient to get a COVID-19 vaccine at these locations.
Proof of Philadelphia residency is required. If you have an insurance card, please bring it to the health center. We will also provide COVID-19 vaccine to people who don’t have insurance. The COVID-19 vaccine is available to any resident age six months and older, for whom it is indicated.
