The Department of Public Health (PDPH) collects, analyzes, and reports on a wide variety of Philadelphia health data. This information guides the development of PDPH’s programs and policies. It also helps the broader health care community understand and address Philadelphia’s health challenges.
All data are provided at the discretion of the PDPH. Because we have limited staff and resources, we are not able to meet all requests.
Requirements
Anyone can request health data from the PDPH, including members of the public.
If you plan to use the data for formal research, the Institutional Review Board and the Health Commissioner’s Office Review Committee may need to review your request.
For access to some data, you may need to make a Right to Know request by emailing RightToKnowHealth@phila.gov.
