Get emergency home repairs

If you have emergencies with basic systems, the Basic Systems Repair Program (BSRP) could help. BSRP is funded by the Division of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). It provides free repairs to eligible owner-occupied homes in Philadelphia. They work on:

  • Electrical systems.
  • Plumbing.
  • Heating.
  • Structural issues.
  • Roofing.

Who

Owner-occupied homeowners who meet household income guidelines.

Requirements

You must meet these income guidelines to qualify. Income is for all members of your household.

(1) Represents 50% of Area Median Income under HUD Section 8 annual income limits, effective April 19, 2022.

For households larger than 8, add approximately $3,500 per person. Income guidelines are subject to change.
