The Department of Licenses and Inspections is switching over fully to the eCLIPSE technology platform. This will require software updates and a major data conversion that will begin on March 12, 2020.
As a result, daily data updates to several popular City applications will be interrupted. The applications will remain up and running, but until updates start again, they will not include data generated after March 12th .
A plan for restoring daily updates is in place. We anticipate – but cannot guarantee – that updates will resume in the first full week of April 2020.
Affected applications include:
- Atlas
- L&I property history lookup
- L&I permit tracker
- L&I data sets for permits, violations, demolitions, clean and seals, service requests, appeals, and inspections at opendataphilly.org and openmaps.phila.gov.
- Appeals calendars for the Zoning Board of Adjustment, Board of L&I Review, and the Board of Building Safety
Please note that the appeals calendars will continue to reflect hearings that will take place after March 12th if they were put on the calendars on or before March 12th. Additions and changes to the calendars made after March 12th will not be included.
Remember that you can keep using these applications – the data will be current up to and including March 12, 2020. Check back often for reports on how the work to restore daily updates is progressing.
