The Department of Licenses and Inspections is providing access to the City of Philadelphia's Building Construction and Occupancy Code, Zoning Code and Codes governing Businesses, Trades and Profession.  Effective January 2004, as required by the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code – Act 45 of 1999, the City of Philadelphia adopted, with modifications, the International Code Council's (ICC) 2003 model codes noted below with three asterisks ( *** ).
Note: The copyrighted language of the adopted ICC codes is not included in any of these documents.  You may purchase ICC codes through the ICC, WWW.ICCSAFE.ORG or 800 214 4321 (ask for Customer Service).
