OHCD, PRA Issue Affordable Housing Development RFPs for Point Breeze
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) and the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority (PRA) have issued a total of three Requests for Proposal (RFP) for affordable housing development in Philadelphia’s Point Breeze neighborhood.

OHCD issued two of the RFPs. One is for the development of affordable homeownership housing on vacant lots located at 2325-35 Cross Street and at 2330-36 Greenwich Street. The second seeks proposals for the development of 10 affordable homeownership units on vacant lots near 17th and Manton Streets.

The PRA RFP seeks developers to rehabilitate, market and sell six publicly owned scattered site vacant structures for homeownership. In this RFP the developer will be paid a fee upon the sale of each completed home to an eligible homeowner.

Proposals are due for each RFP no later than 4:00 p.m. on May 30, 2013.
