Frankford Creek Greenway Feasibility Study

The Frankford Creek Greenway Feasibility Study was completed in the Summer of 2014 and was a joint effort of the Planning Commission and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation. The study determined potential alignments of a greenway along the Frankford Creek in the Juniata, Frankford, and Port Richmond neighborhoods. The greenway will connect the Tacony Creek Trail at I and Ramona Streets to the North Delaware Trail at the Delaware River.
The study recommends a phased implementation of the greenway from east to west along on-road and off-road facilities. Implementation will involve partnering with PennDOT, the Streets Department, and other agencies for on-road, sidepath, and off-road trail facilities.

Please contact the project manager, David Kanthor, with any questions or comments.
