Providing learning opportunities and business support for immigrant entrepreneurs.
Immigrant Business Week is a collaboration between the Department of Commerce and the Office of Immigrant Affairs. We offer diverse small business owners the resources to thrive. Through workshops and other events, we’re supporting the efforts of Philadelphia’s entrepreneurs.
Join us and support immigrant-owned small businesses around the city!
At our kickoff event, we’ll honor several immigrant businesses who have acted as community connectors. After a workshop on growing your business, you can get one-on-one multilingual assistance with the Department of Commerce’s Office of Business Services. Register online.
The Office of Immigrant Affairs invites you to learn about I-9 compliance and what to do if immigration officials come to your workplace.
Join the Community College of Philadelphia’s Power Up Your Business for a workshop on social media strategy. Attendees will learn how to develop an effective social media strategy that engages customers. Support is available in both English and Spanish.
Our bilingual business service managers can answer your questions about running a business in Philadelphia.
