Anne Nadol was appointed by Mayor Kenney as Commerce Director in March 2022. Nadol is a Philadelphia-based executive with more than three decades of experience spanning government, business, higher education, and economic development roles. As Commerce Director, Nadol oversees the City’s economic development efforts and implements policies to support the growth of small businesses along with the attraction and retention of major companies. Previously, Nadol worked for Temple University for more than twenty years in a variety of senior leadership positions, most recently as Vice President and Secretary to the Board of Trustees and served as chief of staff to the President. Prior to her work at Temple University in 2000, Nadol served in various roles in government at the local and federal levels, including as Special Assistant to Mayor Ed Rendell.
Atif Saeed is the Chief Executive Officer of the Division of Aviation, which includes Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Northeast Philadelphia Airport (PNE), effective December 1, 2022. As CEO, Saeed serves as the City’s chief aviation representative in local, state, national, and international affairs. He is responsible for the operation of the Airport System and directing the planning, development, and administration of all activities of the City’s Division of Aviation. Atif Saeed brings a broad background across three large hub airports including Phoenix, Atlanta, and Minneapolis. In this role, Saeed also oversees the management of airport personnel, including over 1,000 direct City employees and additional contracted and consulting staff.
Heloise Jettison is a native Philadelphian with over 30 years of experience in the field of health and social services, K–12 education management, application of law and strategic policies for vulnerable families, and workforce development systems and coalition building. She works with the Commerce team to improve the health, economic growth, and development of the business community while advocating for a thriving and equitable workforce. In her current role, Heloise oversees the department’s daily operations for a coordinated outward-facing City department. This office supports the team in alignment with Commerce’s mission, culture, and priorities.
