Anne Nadol was appointed by Mayor Kenney as Commerce Director in March 2022. Nadol is a Philadelphia-based executive with more than three decades of experience spanning government, business, higher education, and economic development roles. As Commerce Director, Nadol oversees the City’s economic development efforts and implements policies to support the growth of small businesses along with the attraction and retention of major companies. Previously, Nadol worked for Temple University for more than twenty years in a variety of senior leadership positions, most recently as Vice President and Secretary to the Board of Trustees and served as chief of staff to the President. Prior to her work at Temple University in 2000, Nadol served in various roles in government at the local and federal levels, including as Special Assistant to Mayor Ed Rendell.
Keith J. Brune, A.A.E., IAP, is the Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer for the City of Philadelphia Division of Aviation. He was appointed Interim CEO in June 2022 and COO in October 2017. As Interim CEO, Mr. Brune serves as the City’s chief aviation representative in local, state, national, and international affairs. He is responsible for the operation of the Airport System and directing the planning, development, and administration of all activities of the City’s Division of Aviation, including both Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Northeast Philadelphia Airport (PNE). He also oversees the management of airport personnel, including over 1,000 direct City employees and additional contracted and consulting staff.
