Request line striping

Pavement markings define the traffic lanes, bike lanes, crosswalks, and other features of Philadelphia’s streets. When these markings fade or are damaged, it makes it harder for drivers and pedestrians to navigate.

You can ask the City to refresh the line striping on a street. The Department of Streets will review your request and paint new lines if needed.

How

Use the form below to submit your request for line striping. In the comments section, you might describe:

  • The kind of lines that need to be repainted. (For example, you can describe whether they mark a traffic lane, bike lane, or crosswalk.)
  • The color of the lines.
  • Whether the lines separate traffic that is going in the same direction or in different directions.
  • Whether any turning or directional arrows are missing.
