Before you start

To search for an inmate’s location, you’ll need:

  • the person’s full name and date of birth; or
  • the person’s police identification number (PID).

The locator only includes facilities managed by the Philadelphia Department of Prisons.

Call any of the numbers below for help locating an inmate. The office is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To avoid peak calling hours on weekdays, call before 9 a.m. or after 7 p.m.
