Residents are welcome to reach out to the Commission with questions or information requests. Our staff includes an Executive Director and two Hearing Examiners who can help direct you to the right resources.

Right-to-Know requests

The Gas Commission provides access to its public records in accordance with Pennsylvania’s Right To Know Law, the Philadelphia Home Rule Charter, and the City of Philadelphia’s Open Records Policy.

Complete the standard Right-to-Know form

To submit a request, follow the instructions listed in the Open Records Policy. The Policy includes contact information, forms, and steps to submit a Right-to-Know request.


Public comment form

To participate in a public meeting, submit questions and comments using the online public comment form. All forms should be submitted by 9 a.m. on the day of the meeting.

Questions and complaints about a gas bill

If you have a question or complaint about a gas bill, payment agreement, shut-off notice, or any other customer issue (including PGW rates and service rules), contact PGW directly:
