Suki Kazahaya

Director of Administration

 

Suki Kazahaya is the Director of Administration for the City of Philadelphia's Law Department and reports directly to the First Deputy City Solicitor.  The Administrative Service Department provides support services to all employees of the Law Department.  These services include: budget preparation and management; bill payment; purchase and maintenance of supplies and equipment; personnel and payroll; management of contracts for services; management of computer operations; telecommunications; space planning; maintenance the of law library; mail deliveries; record retention and disposal; and other support services.

 

Suki received her B.A. from Lafayette College in 1987.  After graduation, she spent five years in public accounting with KPMG Peat Marwick in New York, NY and Philadelphia, PA.  After six years in the private sector, in 1998, Suki joined the City of Philadelphia's Office of Housing and Community Development as an Accountant and later promoted to Accounting Section Supervisor.  In September 2010, Suki joined the Law Department in her current position as the Director of Administration.

 

In her free time, Suki enjoys participating in Ironman and Ironman 70.3 triathlons.  She is also active in mentoring new triathlete through SheROX Triathlon.
