The Philadelphia Historical Commission and its committees hold public meetings. At these meetings, they review:
- Building permit applications for work to historically designated properties.
- Matters relating to historic designation. This includes nominations to the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places.
Interested parties can comment on matters before the Historical Commission in person at public meetings. Or, comments may be submitted in writing at least seven days before the public meeting. Written remarks may be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
