We provide information and free monthly classes to teach people how they can safely remove lead paint hazards. We also work with certified lead abatement contractors to reduce lead hazards.
What Does "Lead-Safe" Mean?
"Lead-safe" does not mean that all the lead paint in the home must be removed.
A "lead-safe" home is one that does not have any exposed lead paint hazards. All surfaces should be smooth and tightly sealed with intact non-lead paint. It should be easy to clean all surfaces.
