With the summer season around the corner, Philadelphia Parks & Recreation will host a job fair at the Dell Music Center. The public is invited to participate in this free event from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. A variety of City agencies and local businesses will be on hand to share job information and community resources. The event is free. No advanced registration is required.In addition to Parks & Rec, representatives from The Office of Human Resources, The Office of Children and Families, The Philadelphia Department of Streets, The Philadelphia Water Department, The Dell Music Center, Rita’s Water Ice, Scotlandyard Security Services, and other local businesses will be on site.Parks & Rec is recruiting for a variety of seasonal and part-time positions, including lifeguards and pool maintenance attendants. Lifeguard candidates who act now can secure a first-ever $500 end-of-season bonus if they submit their application by May 15.
