Spring is a time for fresh starts and sunnier skies. If you haven’t already, take the time to pay your 2019 Real Estate Taxes. Missing the March 31 deadline could dampen the rest of your year.

If you fail to pay your Real Estate Tax bill by March 31:

  • Charges, including interest, are added to the amount you owe,
  • A lien can be filed against your property,
  • The City can begin the process of selling your property at a Sheriff Sale.

You can pay your bill:

  • Online at phila.gov/pay (eCheck is FREE)
  • By calling (877) 309-3710
  • By mailing a check (include a payment coupon) to
    Philadelphia Department of Revenue
    P.O. Box 8409
    Philadelphia, PA 19101-8409

Our Center City location has extended customer service hours until April 15, 2019. Come pay your Real Estate Tax –or find out about homeowner assistance programs– until 7 P.M. Monday through Thursday, or Saturday between 10 A.M and 2 P.M.

Get assistance, stay current

If you can’t pay your 2019 Real Estate Taxes, contact the Department of Revenue about enrolling into a payment agreement. Call (215) 686-6442.

Enrolling in a payment agreement, and then making your monthly installments, keeps you current on Real Estate Taxes. You’ll avoid additional changes and steer clear of a Sheriff Sale.

March 31 is also the deadline to get into an installment plan. If you know you need help, spring into action now! Reach out to us before you get into tax trouble.
