APPRISE Counseling Services

APPRISE is a federally funded program administered through Philadelphia Corporation for the Aging and designed specifically to help Philadelphia residents over 60 with all types of health insurance, including Medicare, Medicaid, private policies like Long-Term Care, Managed Care and Medicare Supplemental Insurance. APPRISE counsels low income Medicare recipients on their choices and options for medical coverage that minimizes the cost to the recipient.
