PHILADELPHIA— Mayor Jim Kenney has released the following statement regarding the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria.

“Philadelphia has a special connection to Puerto Rico, and our hearts go out to everyone who calls the island home – as well as all those in the Caribbean who have been devastated by the recent hurricanes. The City has compiled resources and information for residents with family and friends in Puerto Rico and for residents who want to support the recovery efforts. I urge every Philadelphian to extend a hand during this difficult hurricane season.”
