11:00 AM Mayor Kenney to Visit PHLpreK Program for First Day of Classes
The Mayor, Chief Education Officer Otis Hackney and Director of PHLpreK Julie Beamon will visit Beautiful Beginnings for their first day of school. As of Wednesday, all PHLpreK programs will be in session. All 2,000 PHLpreK seats are full after a successful summer enrollment period. PHLpreK is made possible by the Philadelphia Beverage Tax.
