The Mayor will learn more about the start-up partnerships taking place at String Theory Charter. Highlights of the visit will include a student-run café, the school’s robotics/engineering room and broadcasting studio, and a tour of the school’s startup incubator where students are given internship opportunities. 6:00 PM Mayor Kenney to Speak at Green City Clean Waters 1,000 Acre Celebration
The Mayor, Managing Director Michael DiBerardinis, Water Commissioner Debra McCarty, and partner groups will celebrate reaching the milestone of 1,000 “Greened Acres”— a term used to describe the volume of stormwater managed by greening hard surfaces like sidewalks, streets and rooftops.
