Recently, Philadelphia students started a new school year.

And, just as the 2017-2018 school year began, on August 28, Mayor Kenney resumed his monthly meetings with School District of Philadelphia principals.

Every month since he’s been in office, the Mayor meets with principals to keep dialogue open and candid, to hear concerns, and to develop solutions together.

The meetings are productive, too, with ideas leading to programs that further support Philadelphia’s students, families, and school communities.
