  • Who We Are

    The Office of Deputy Managing Director of Health and Human Services (HHS) focuses on the development and deployment of best practices, improving cross-systems communication and collaboration, and the promotion of data-informed interventions in order to promote effective service delivery.

  • Departments

    Health and Human Services (HHS) includes the Philadelphia Department of Public Health (PDPH), the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disability Services (DBHIDS), the Office of Homeless Services, the Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity (CEO), the Mayor’s Commission on Aging (MCOA), the Office of Domestic Violence Strategies (ODVS), and a Data Management Office (DMO).

  • Accomplishments

    The departments in the Health and Human Services cluster have seen significant success in the services and programming they provide to residents of Philadelphia.

  • Data Management Office

    The Data Management Office (DMO) maintains the CARES Integrated Data System that integrates and stores cross–systems social service data. CARES makes cross-systems data available for integrated case management, internal analytics, and research.
