The City College for Municipal Employment, better known as CCME, has expanded its mission and programming since it first launched in 2024. In addition to creating opportunities for City employment, the program has strong partnerships with external organizations developing career pathways in a variety of trades, professions, and expanding into new industries.

The 2026 Workforce and Professional Development Training Directory is a resource developed to create a central place for Philadelphians to find pathways to education and economic opportunity. The directory is available online in English, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese. It features over 40 programs and directs Philadelphians to another 50 workforce development resources in their community. Residents can explore internship opportunities, apprenticeships in a variety of trades, certifications, and free and affordable options for higher education.

Whether you are just beginning your career, seeking to sharpen your skills, or preparing for your next step, this directory is designed to help you find opportunities that match your goals. There is something for everyone, including programs for youth and teens, adults seeking a career change, and current City employees looking to grow in their role.
