Mining Our Memories to Write Powerful Personal Stories
Wednesday, March 9 | 11 a.m. – Noon
In this workshop, participants will learn how to mine their own memories for literary treasures they can use to inspire powerful personal narratives, rich with details and descriptions. By the end of the workshop, participants will have solid ideas for future essays or a full-length memoir. This workshop will be presented by Lori L. Tharps, an award-winning author, freelance journalist, podcast host and recognized voice in the areas of race, identity politics, and African American culture.
