What we do
The Mayor’s Office of Women Engagement (MOWE) promotes economic, educational, and social opportunities for Philadelphia’s women, girls, and individuals who identify as female. We support public policy and advocacy initiatives relating to:
- Leadership development.
- Education.
- Health and wellness.
- Civic engagement.
- Gender equality.
- Social justice.
As part of our work, we support the efforts of the Philadelphia Commission for Women. MOWE is part of the Mayor’s Office of Constituency Engagement.
