In its June issue Grid Magazine in partnership with Fair Food Philly, published the 2010 Philadelphia Local Food Guide, a free print and online consumer directory listing hundreds of local farmers markets, CSA farms, restaurants, caterers, retail stores, breweries, buying clubs, and urban farm stands all committed to using locally grown food.
Farmers Markets
- Buy local food at the Mayor’s Market at Love Park this summer every Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Both Farm to City and The Food Trust run numerous farmers markets throughout Philadelphia. You can find Farm to City’s 2010 list here and The Food Trust’s list here.
