Paid training programs
Rebuild offers workforce development programs designed to promote diversity and inclusion in the construction industry. Through its projects, Rebuild will provide people of color and women new pathways to skilled trade union apprenticeships.
Rebuild is currently recruiting individuals interested in pursuing careers the skilled trades. Prior experience is preferred but not required.
The programs we currently and will offer:
- Carpentry
- Masonry (Bricklayer, Cement Mason)
- Finishing Trades (Glazier, Drywall, Industrial Bridge Painting, Commercial Painter)
- Electrician
- Steamfitters (HVAC, Welding)
- Plumber
- Sheet Metal Worker
- Sound and Communication
Application requirements:
- Minimum age of 18.
- COVID-19 vaccination (proof of vaccination required).
- Philadelphia residency.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Valid child abuse clearance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to pass a drug screening.
- Ability to engage in strenuous physical work.
- Demonstrated interest in and commitment to career in construction.
