Process and eligibility
Caregivers can call 1-833-570-5627 to learn more and get help finding a class near you. Caregivers can also enroll in a class by contacting the community-based providers below. A caregiver may be a parent, foster parent, grandparent, older sibling, or anyone living in a household that is supporting a pre-K–12 student.
All classes allow you to earn certificates for digital skills in three areas:
- Essential computer skills: Basic computer skills, using the internet, email, and features of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Essential software skills: Using Google and Microsoft applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Using technology in daily life: Social media, information literacy, K–12 distance learning tools, career searching skills, and your digital footprint
