Hooked on Phonics is an educational program that is offered to inmates who need individual educational instruction and are not ready for the Pennypack House School or PLATO program.  This supportive educational learning program is facilitated under the supervision of a correctional officer and peer inmate who has a high school diploma and demonstrated a strong ability to assist others in learning.
