Education Services

 

The Inmate Education Division is comprised of the Pennypack House School, PLATO and Hooked on Phonics programs.  The Pennypack House School offers educational instruction in a traditional classroom setting in preparation for the GED exam. 

Inmates receive instruction as taught in the Philadelphia public school system.  Inmates who pass the GED exam earn a high school diploma.
