Applications specifying building activity to take place, location of work, owner's name, permit fee, estimated cost of project, inspection dates and signatures. These records advise licenses and inspections of changes being made to existing structures.

Central Clerical / Certification Statements
This statement contains information containing information pertaining to outstanding violations against a property, whether the use of the property for other than a single dwelling is legal, and the zoning district classification. Required under Pennsylvania act no. 652.

Central Clerical / Code Violation Reports
Records of code violation reports such as fire, building, plumbing, electrical, and zoning. These are submitted to the enforcement unit when there is no compliance.

Case histories of properties that have required action by the city to abate hazardous conditions. Included are inspection reports, violation notices, photographs of property before and after, reinspection reports.

These are case histories of demolitions by the city of hazardous properties. Included are complaint reports, violation notices, printout of property ownership and tax information, emergency purchase authorization for contractor to do demolition, and repairs to adjacent properties.

Reports of amount of grant appropriations awarded to clients for assistance with utility bills.

These records comprise a history of variances issued for zoning, use, and certification of buildings, slots, lots, and districts.

Zoning Board of Adjustment / Court of Common Pleas Appeals of Zoning Board Decisions
The original records of these appeals are forwarded to the Law Department and then to the Prothonotary. These are duplicate files and are the Board's only reference to the history of a case.
