The survey of the streets in the northern part of Moyamensing Township, was provided for by the Act of Assembly dated March 26, 1808 and encompasses the area bounded on the North by Cedar Street, on the Southeast by Passyunk Road, on the South by Federal Street, and on the West by the East Line of the Township of Passyunk. Contents include an explanation of the work of the draft (not included); location, regulated height of curbstone; location of houses, stores and other buildings including location and height of the water table; dimensions of streets and squares southward along the west side of Sixth Street.
