This is technical construction code work with responsibility for the enforcement of construction and zoning codes and applicable ordinances for the City's Department of Licenses and Inspections.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND/OR CERTIFICATES
Certification by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Labor and Industry, within thirty days of the announcement closing date, in the following categories: Residential Building Inspector - Building Inspector - Plumbing Inspector - Accessibility Inspector/Plan Examiner.
Completion of the National Certification Program for Construction Code Inspectors and Assessment Services, Inc. - Test Modules 1A, 1B, 3B, 5B and A1 as administered by Building Officials and Code Administrators (BOCA) International, Incorporated, within thirty days of the announcement closing date.
Completion of course work or continuing education credits necessary to maintain certifications during tenure of employment as an L and I Construction Codes Specialist.
Possession of a valid proper class motor vehicle operator's license as issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to appointment and during tenure of employment as an L and I Construction Codes Specialist.
TEST REVIEW
In accordance with Civil Service Regulation 9.091B, candidates will have 30 days after the results have been mailed to review their test. Call 215 686 0880.
Only a departmental promotional eligible list for the Department of Licenses and Inspections will be established as a result of this examination.
