You can report a variety of problems to 311, including:
- Potholes and street damage.
- Abandoned automobiles.
- Graffiti.
- Illegal dumping.
- Street light outages.
Philly311 will direct your issue to the correct department. Once you’ve submitted your service request, you can track its progress.

You don’t need an account to submit a request, but signing in to an account will make it easier to track your requests.
Cases marked as private are not visible to the public. You can track the status of a private request if you submitted your request while logged into an account. You can also call 311 for an update.

When you submit a service request, remember to provide:
- The exact location: Include the closest street address (name and number).
- Clear details: Give a thorough explanation of the issue (e.g., size, shape, exact placement).
- Pictures: Photos help our staff route your request to workers in the field.
