The Refinery Advisory Group is charged with hosting a series of public meetings aimed at gathering testimony and information from experts and stakeholders who represent an array of constituencies: the community, academic and environmental experts, business leaders, and organized labor.

On August 6, 2019, the group held its first of five public meetings. The Refinery Advisory Group will release a report that compiles all the information they gather and include recommendations for the future use of the refinery site.
