North Broad Street is a Vision Zero High Injury Network street with a high number of driver and pedestrian crashes. The City received federal funding to:

Install raised concrete medians from W. Girard Avenue to Cecil B. Moore Avenue.
Create pedestrian refuges at intersections.

This project is led by the Office of Transportation, Infrastructure, and Sustainability and the Department of Streets.
