What you need to pay Real Estate Tax online

Your property address or 9-digit Office of Property Assessment (OPA) number is all you need to pay your balance in full or by period. Enter your address in the “Search for a property” panel to:

  • Use the “Search for a property” link on the Philadelphia Tax Center homepage to search for your property.
  • Select your OPA number in the “Search results” box to proceed.
  • On the right side of the screen, select “Make a payment.”
  • In the “Make an electronic payment” panel, choose “Pay online” and follow the prompts.

Pay with an eCheck for free. Using a credit or debit card has a convenience fee.

Other ways to pay

You can always pay your bill by phone, in person, or by mail:

  1. Over the phone – Just dial (833) 913-0795 and be ready to share your bank account and routing numbers. Again, eCheck payments are always free of processing charges. There’s a fee if you use a debit or credit card.
  2. In-person – visit us in person at one of our three municipal services centers. We only accept cash payments at our Center City location.
  3. By mail – If you want to mail a check, please include your payment voucher, write your OPA number on the check, and mail it to:
