We’re mailing notices to residents whose Real Estate Taxes are past due. If you got a letter from the Department of Revenue, now is the time to act. Property taxes fund Philadelphia schools and other essential City services. If you ignore our letter, you’ll be dealing with a collection agency very soon.

The letter includes the words “Transfer to Collection Agency” in bold, red letters at the top. It also includes the Payment Due, and the number of days left before we send your account to Pioneer Recovery. If we send your account to Pioneer, the fees on your account will jump from 6% to 10%.

You can settle your debt right now online. You can also pay at any time over the phone, by calling (877) 309-3710, or pay in person.

Can’t afford to pay your Real Estate Taxes? Don’t look the other way. We can help. Revenue runs several assistance-program and payment-plan options. Whether you owe a lot, or a little, just reach out to us:

The Department of Revenue has expanded assistance programs and made payment agreement terms more flexible. At the same time, we’re identifying more delinquent accounts, and getting tougher on property owners who remain non-compliant.

Don’t get transferred to a collection agency. Pay your overdue Real Estate Tax or get into a payment agreement.
