This is forensic field investigation work at the advanced level in the Police Department's Crime Scene Unit, locating, gathering, documenting, transporting, preserving and analyzing physical evidence obtained from crime scenes.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND/OR CERTIFICATES
Possession of a valid proper class motor vehicle operator's license as issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to appointment and during tenure of employment as a Crime Scene Investigator required by work assignment.
Only a departmental promotional eligible list for the Police Department will be established as a result of this examination.
