Meet at Harper’s Meadow Come join a group of like-minded enthusiasts for art and nature as we gather in Harper’s Meadow for a “plein air” session. Feel free to bring a chair, or a portable easel or just a blanket as well as a sketchbook or materials for painting that you can manage in the landscape of our beautiful park. FOW Trail Ambassador and art teacher Jane Klein will be available to provide some formal instruction as well. The session will consist of brief introductions, time for drawing/painting and then coming together to share our work or insights into the process of making art in an open air space. No previous drawing or painting experience necessary. Please bring whatever materials you think you might want to use.   Registration is required for all hikes so that participants can be informed of weather or other emergency cancellations.  Unless otherwise specified, Trail Ambassador Walks may be on rocky, rugged trails that may be wet and slippery. Wear sturdy shoes or boots with socks. Walks are cancelled in heavy rain or icy conditions. Service animals are always welcome. For more information contact Marisa Miller at miller@fow.org. Visit www.fow.org for updates.   Register Below!
