Come celebrate the language, traditions, and vibrant cultures of the Spanish-speaking world and the immigrant communities of Philadelphia. Salsa & Bachata with Siempre Salsa – Live Band

Free salsa and bachata in Love Park Friday nights from June through September. Dance lessons by DJ Kevin Ngo. Presented by Siempre Salsa, a nonprofit promoting salsa music and the community from which it emanates.

The September 18 event features a Special live performance by the Siempre Salsa All-Stars – led by Carlos Sanchez & featuring Grammy-winning vocalist Willie Torres. The September 25 event features a special Mexican folk dance performance by Danza Tonantzin to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. No registration required — just show up and dance! !Bailar En FDR! Salsa Class and Social Dance

Gateway Plaza at FDR Park–Broad Street and Pattison Avenue, 19145.  

Join Fairmount Park Conservancy and DJ Valentin Flores of Dance Philly on select Fridays from 7-11 PM at FDR Park’s Gateway Plaza. Experience culture, meet new people, and discover a fun and enjoyable way to keep yourself fit by moving your feet. Hosted by Fairmount Park Conservancy, DJ Valentin Flores, and Dance Philly.

The program begins with a one-hour dance lesson from 7–8 PM followed by a social dance from 8–11 PM. The lesson is taught by an experienced instructor, who will accommodate all levels. Register for the event on the Fairmount Park Conservancy website. 

Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade
