Attention hikers, bikers, and trail runners! If you are planning your next outdoor adventure in Pennypack Park, you will need to adjust your route. 

The footbridge south of Pine Road is completely inaccessible to the public. The Pine Road parking area remains open, providing full access to the pavilion area.   

Fortunately, you can still enjoy your full workout or nature walk. If you need access to the Pennypack Trail, park and enter at one of these four alternative trailheads: 

• Veree Road 

• Krewstown Road 

• Benton Avenue 

• Winchester Avenue 

This footbridge will be closed until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please keep these detours in mind on your next trip out to the park.
