At the request of the Philadelphia City Planning Commission, the staff of the Philadelphia Historical Commission has reviewed the historical development and ongoing preservation initiatives and has developed recommendations to enhance preservation efforts in various Phila2035 Planning Districts. This work further serves to advance the Historical Commission's ongoing effort to survey historic resources throughout the city. Below is a sampling of these memos. Please note that they have not been vetted by the full Historical Commission.
