What REALLY Happened in the Boyd Review (7/7/2015)
Jul 07, 2015
On July 6, 2015, the Inquirer published Historical Commission chair Sam Sherman’s response to a letter to the editor by Ronald B. Levine, which appeared in the paper on June 25. The letters addressed the Historical Commission’s review of the Boyd Theater redevelopment proposal on June 12. Before publishing Mr. Sherman’s letter, the Inquirer edited it considerably, removing Sherman’s critique of Inquirer critic Inga Saffron’s comments on the review, which appeared in the paper on June 19. Levine’s letter and Sherman’s letters as submitted and published, Saffron’s commentary, and the Historical Commission’s minute of the review can be found at the links below.
