All subpoenas directed to the Records Department must be served by hand delivery at the City of Philadelphia Law Department, Claims Unit, 14th Floor, 1515 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102, where the subpoena will be logged and date-stamped. The subpoena should then be taken by the server to the Department of Records, City Hall Rm 156, at which point Records Department personnel will be able to start the process of addressing the subpoena request. Please make a copy of the date-stamped subpoena for your records.
