The Business Coach Program provides access to support for your business. ​

Completing this program improves your chances of being approved for Department of Commerce initiatives, including:

Business Coach services include:

  • Business planning.
  • Financial management.
  • Customer relations.
  • Marketing.
  • Technology.
  • Access to capital.
  • Inventory.
  • Visual merchandising.

Process and eligibility

This program only applies to select low-to-moderate income neighborhoods and corridors.

To use the Business Coach Program, you must:

  • Own or manage a small business.
  • Have interest in applying for Department of Commerce programs.
  • Be referred to the program by a corridor manager or Department of Commerce staff.
  • Be ready and willing to put in place suggested changes.

The Business Coach Program begins with a full assessment of your business. Participants should expect to share business financial documents.
