In 2019, The Office of Innovation and Technology released the SmartCityPHL Roadmap that describes three key strategies to thoughtfully develop and deploy smart city technology solutions in a way that will best support Philadelphia’s diverse communities.

SmartCityPHL was established through Executive Order 2-19. The SmartCityPHL Initiative is now managed by the Managing Director’s Office.
